Casino stole my heart as a weanling! He came from Kansas---the old source of many fine Western Working Morgans. Casino stands 15 hands and weighs 1050#. He is a very compact and typey horse, and knows how to move a herd of cows. His foals exhibit his beautiful head and balance. To date he has produced about 60% color! His color line is from two sources; Walker and Hanneman. These horses trace to some of the old government lines--and he also has a line to Archie O. Casino foals are always alert, sometimes too smart, and pretty with correct conformation and lots of style. Click below to see more pictures of Casino or his offspring!
This boy is the reason I breed horses! I will always appreciate Gary Gray, the breeder of Osirus, for this fine stallion. I always liked the Omar Sherrif bred horses and finally found this gem. He stands an honest 15.3, is black chestnut, weighs in at 1300# and has a 10” cannon bone. Osirus consistently produces large foals with quiet minds, excellent conformation, good bone and lots of cow sense. He has been used on cattle and trail rides---the bonus being that he is a natural singlefooter!
Jet Black, no white markings, foaled 1992, 15.2 hands. Moses is a very kind and friendly horse. It is sometimes said that a larger Morgan can lack type...But not in this case! Moses oozes Morgan 'type' and is an honest 15.2h. He has a 'Who's Who' classic pedigree as well. Moses is HOMOZYGOUS for Black points - meaning that he has produced nothing but black, bay and seal brown - even out of chestnut mares. One wouldn't mistake him for anything other than a Morgan! In addition to his other virtues, Moses also possesses another gift: he is a natural singlefooter, offering the smoothest gait in an already smooth-moving breed. Moses is on lease to us from owner Gary Gray ~ Silvershoe Morgans, Utah. Both natural cover and AI are available. He is a proven producer of typey foals much like himself. His family is known for western working athletes as well as elegant driving horses and family pleasure horses.
